Morena Wild Whaea I decided to give Leonie her koha today so she could hang it up and she loved it. I was worried with these rainy days that moisture might get in the box. Even though her birthday is two weeks away we still have our planned holiday coming up and I'm getting a portrait and photos taken. Damn darlings..We opened our Taonga an hour ago and no one was around to catch our reaction..Just her and I.. You'll never know how overwhelmed we both are.. Our precious Taonga is everything I've ever dreamed of..Apart from the little Kakahu's you made for my Mokomoko- she has never seen a Korowhai before- and the tears flowed freely.. We are both so very grateful to you both for making this incredible masterpiece..It will be cherished for generations to come.. and apparently we're having photos taken when the Mokomoko arrive..So watch this space my darlings..
